Presentación del Proyecto Iskurna y primer recorrido por la memoria / Presentation of Iskurna Project and the first walk on the memory

El Proyecto Iskurna sigue adelante. En este primera etapa hemos estado reuniéndonos, pensando cómo desarrollar el proyecto y hemos empezado a comunicar de qué se trata a nuestros vecinos y vecinas. A su vez, también es una etapa de escuchar y entender el lugar para luego darle forma a nuestras actividades.

 En primer lugar, hemos empezado el proceso de recuperar la memoria de lugares concretos del pueblo con varios vecinos y vecinas del pueblo. En especial nos hemos centrado en el sistema de irrigación del pueblo que aún tenemos que completar y en las inundaciones. Con toda esta información nos gustaría desarrollar un mapa que mostrara toda esa memoria colectiva relativa al agua. Nuestro objetivo es que poco a poco este mapa vaya creciendo con la participación de los vecinos y vecinas que quieran aportando nuevas memorias.

El próximo día 24 de junio a las 20:00 horas vamos a realizar la presentación del proyecto en el Centro Municipal del Rincón de Beniscornia acompañado de una presentación de fotografía antigua del pueblo.

Y el día siguiente, el día 25 de junio a las 8.30 horas de la mañana, realizaremos el primer recorrido por la memoria del pueblo en el que visitaremos algunos de los lugares históricos del pueblo. Partiremos de la Plaza de la Iglesia.

Iskurna Project keeps on going. In this first stage we have been meeting and thinking about how to develop the project and we have begun to communicate it to our neighbours. In this stage, we are listening and trying to understand the place.

Firstly, we have begun the process of recovering the memory of specific locations of the village with several neighbours. We have focused on the irrigation system and floods. It is not completed yet. We would like to develop a map showing this collective memory about water. Our goal is that this map grows up with the participation of the neighbours who want to bring new memories.

The next day June 24th at 20:00 we will do a presentation of the project in the Municipal Center in Rincón de Beniscornia. We will show some old photographs of our village.Next day, June 25 at 8:30 am, we will make the first walk in the memory of Rincón de Beniscornia. We will visit some historical sites in the village. It will start in Plaza de la Iglesia.
